SAFESpaces365 works to provide comprehensive protection for the schools,
educators, and students we serve. Our standard five-step service package provides
schools and districts with a means of rapidly and economically improving security
preparedness. Our standard approach includes:

Comprehensive onsite
security review

of all buildings and properties within the school system, conducted through onsite Agent assessments. Agents examine entrances, exits, windows, traffic flow, access control, fencing, existing security and monitoring devices, and landscaping for security risks, as well as hidden risk areas such as science labs, gas lines, onsite chemicals and potentially hazardous materials. Agents also assess facility preparedness for tornados and other natural disasters, identifying potential risk reduction areas of the building.

Remediation Recommendations

Following a thorough review of findings, Agents provide a remediation recommendation document including suggested modifications to procedures, processes, access control, traffic patterns, infrastructural improvements and additional security apparatus as appropriate.

Emergency Operations Plan/Crisis Management Plan Review.

Agents review existing EOP/CMPs relative to optimal practices, modifying the plan as needed to align it with current best practices. Agents will produce a customized plan if no current plan exists.

Education and Training.

Agents will provide education and training in alignment with the finalized Emergency Operations Plan to teachers, administrators, students, and staff to define roles, responsibilities, and required procedures. Instruction will be oriented towards both incident prevention and incident response, maximizing the potential to interrupt incipient threats and the ability to minimize harm from any incident that may occur.

Monitoring.

SAFESpaces365 believes that comprehensive security is only achievable through a process of continuing refinement and improvement. Throughout the course of our engagement, Agents will visit schools on a monthly basis to provide continuing education, instruction and recommendations; modify EOPs to reflect new strategies and changing circumstances; and engage with students, faculty, and staff to maintain security efficacy and awareness.
